There was a time where this soup mix was easily bought in the store but now it’s so hard to find so I make my own. I add 1\4 cup of this mix when making any soup stock along with the fresh veggies, meat and bones. All you do is take dehydrated onions, carrots, celery, parsnips and parsley. Grind it all up in your food processor and that’s it. Use equal amounts of your dried veggies and a couple of tablespoons of dried parsley.
TIP , You could add to this mix any of your favourite dried herbs.
To dehydrate these veggies just wash, chop carrots and parsnips into circles nice and fine and the parsley just remove the stalks. The celery you chop into 1/4 inch- 5 mm lengths. The onions just peal and finely slice into rings. These are the veggies I like in my mix but you could add your own choice of veggies and have the flavours you love. To store I add a 1\4 cup of dry rice and keep in a cool dark place in an airtight container.
Check your dehydrator manual for the times and heat setting for your unit.
